Our Primary Purpose The primary purpose of Solidarity is to provide an opportunity for men and women who are experiencing a deep, spiritual crisis, emotionally destructive habits or damaging lifestyles to seek refuge and to find hope. Solidarity is for people who wish to join a family community and succeed in finding a spiritual, personal and socially responsible life. Our family at Solidarity squarely faces the issues that society disowns or denies related to each individual's physical and emotional health and their individual needs, in order to attain autonomy and self-fulfillment. Our spiritual foundation allows for freedom to heal, to forgive and to find new, realistic choices in our everyday living. |
Twenty-five years of recovery and long-term success At Solidarity, we work hand in hand with the criminal justice system. We are aware of the current issues that many programs do not address. We concern ourselves with the futures of our clients after they leave the program, and work hard to help the offenders who are powerless to fight their addiction and behavioral problems. We work closely with each client to develop or restore a sense of responsibility and accountability, a positive attitude, and the confidence and enthusiasm to be an active member of society. |
Our Program We ask that each client give us a minimum commitment of six months to focus on their recovery and the underlying reasons for their emotionally damaging and self-destructive lifestyles. We do not mandate, but strongly encourage, a residential aftercare treatment program; which is slightly less structured and has no specific time limit. We believe the more time clients decide to spend in the program, and the more they commit to honesty and hard work, the more assured they are of a bright and rewarding future. |
